This is our process.
In this introductory phase, we will meet with all involved parties to discuss and ideate on the mission, challenges, and desires of your organization. Information gathered will come in the form of documents, media (images and videos), and any other source of inspiration or motivation on the client's part. Based on your needs, we will provide a document describing needs and tradeoffs with regards to design as well as a high-level template/blueprint of the project. A review of the blueprint will be scheduled to discuss any potential changes.
During this phase, we leverage creative and scaffolding software to create a high-fidelity prototype with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma primarily. We will incorporate any colors, fonts, imagery, and other assets found during the research phase. User interactions and animations are well-documented for the development phase (whether the design is implemented by your organization or us). We provide 1 (one) Figma file which contains the main prototype and schedule a review to discuss designs and possible revisions.
Upon completion of any revisions from previous phases, all necessary assets will be given to your organization. Before handoff, we will communicate any considerations, interactions and animations to your development team should you not choose SDNY to develop your project. SDNY will also answer any clarifying questions or concerns your team may have.
In this phase, we will meet with your team/organization to get acquainted and set expectations around process and collaboration. We will also review the design with the client and clarify any questions regarding its implementation.
During this phase, we will translate the design into a well-performing, accessible experience for your end users with thoughtful interactions and intricate animations. We are committed to creating heightened experiences for your users, forming new bonds with them.
We will work with your team to finalize all content to be added to a content management system as well as provide training to get your team familiar with the new system. Prior to launch, SDNY will thoroughly test the website for any missed bugs, errors, etc. We will also ask your organization to look through the website to ensure that the site is ready for the public.
